The greatest strengths that Don Crawford brings to the Flipside Talk Show and to his writing are his diverse background both in experience and academics and his communication skills.

Before hosting the FLIPSIDE talk show on RIGHTALK, he hosted local weeknight and weekend talk shows in Austin, TX and Glendale, CA. Don also was the host of the first radio talk show ever to be carried by the Armed Forces Radio Network (AFRTS), for which he received a commendation from the U.S. Armed Forces. And he hosted a nightly talk show for the Radio Network of Texas.

Don has published numerous articles in periodicals, local newspapers, and web journals including WorldNetDaily.com, AmericanThinker.com, and GOPUSA.com. He also has been the executive Director of a number of non-profit organizations for which he has published and written monthly and weekly newsletters.

Don has been interviewed or highlighted in BBC broadcasts (concerning the war in Iraq), web journals including the Wall Street Journal’s OpinionJournal.com, and local TV news broadcasts. Don hosted a weekly television show on Austin Cable Vision and has been the guest on numerous local television shows. Don was one of the official “regular guests” for several years on KABC, Los Angeles’ “Religion On The Line” radio show.

Don Crawford is a popular, after-dinner and motivational speaker, entertaining crowds all over North America. He frequently conducts workshops and seminars on politics, ethics, faith and reason, and listening skills for universities, conservative grass roots organizations, and business organizations across America. He has been commended and won awards from a number of organizations for his speeches.

Don has taught human sexuality Michigan State University, trained Planned Parenthood agency staffs in sexual counseling for H.U.D., and trained parents and teachers of various school districts in parenting and conflict resolution skills for the U.S. Department of Education. He worked as a campus minister and trained campus ministers for twenty years, including directing a summer leadership program as an extension center of Pepperdine University at the University of CA, Santa Barbara. Additionally, he has worked in ministries with inner city families in Los Angeles and Detroit.

Don did non-degree graduate work in philosophy at the University of Texas and the University of CA, Santa Barbara. He did his master’s degree course work in Christian apologetics at Simon Greenleaf School of Law and earned a Certificate in International Human Rights Law at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasburg, France. He also did his M.A. course work in Family and Child Counseling at Michigan State University and received his degree in Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University and is in Who’s Who In American Colleges and Universities.

Don Crawford has lived in the Austin area since 1985, except for two years in Los Angeles.
